We are a family owned business. We strive to continually grow produce that is not only healthy but flavorful. We believe that meal time is family time and should be enjoyed, not only with the food you serve, but with the company you keep. The more enjoyable the meal the more everyone loves to sit and socialize with one another. Relationships we build today will last a lifetime. So we hope you enjoy our produce as much as we have over the years.
Our farm is located in Flushing, Mi. We have been growing most of our lives. Jean grew up and participated on her grandfather's farm in Homer, MI. Gardening with her father, including canning and freezing with her step-mother. Scott began growing vegetables with his father, and helping the family with the storage process. We have continued to raise produce after our first home ownership. Combined we have many years of experience, tried and true methods, and yet we are still learning and willing to implement new ideas. Our goal is to provide fresh produce to our community that is non-gmo, chemical free and safe for your family. We utilize natural and organic practices to minimize risk not only to families, but also to our environment.
We strive to minimize environmental impact while protecting crops by deterring common garden pests while not harming our agricultural friends such as bees, birds, and butterflies.
We are PSA (Produce Safety Alliance) certified. We are MAEAP (Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program) certified. We also hope to be seeking the following certifications as well, GAP (Good Agricultural Practices).
