About Us
Greene Prairie Aquafarm LLC was established in 2001 to produce saltwater shrimp in earthen ponds 150 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico. We currently have 20 ponds comprising 66 acres of water. We annually produce about 225,000 lbs of shrimp without the use of pesticides, antibiotics or hormones, and process them without any preservatives. We sell them wholesale and retail. We sell them fresh or IQF in head-on, headless, or P&D forms.
