Local Harvest CSA / ZJ Farm

ZJ farm was an 80 acre diversified vegetable farm, and was owned and operated by Susan Jutz and her family for over twenty years. In 1996 Susan started Local Harvest CSA in collaboration with other small farmers, and was always the principal vegetable grower. She has been committed to supporting and mentoring young farmers for many years, and in 2015 began transitioning the farm to Carmen Black. 2016 marked the beginning of Sundog Farm, and Carmens first season farming on her own, although Susan has graciously remained involved as a mentor. Carmen worked for Susan for several years before transitioning to owning the farm, and continues to run Local Harvest CSA with the same commitment to community and sustainability that Susan founded it on.
